Gudule and Dudule!
Funny names,
They loved clocks,
And what does their names matter?

A clock for everyone,
Inherited from a deceased,
Ring every hour
Their happy times.

The clocks were enthroned,
On the large chest of drawers,
Their hands were turning,
And together they whisper.

Tic tac tictacant !
In synchronized harmony,
From the two hearts of the two lovers,
With every look and every kiss.

Their joy was at its height,
When all the bells rang,
Both pendulums, at the same time
Without failing, not for a single moment.

The clocks are getting old,
We stumbled in their team,
Sounding false, out of time,
To the despair of the two lovers.

The clocks set the discord,
And they cried for mercy.
Their love, ringing false,
Suspended under the scaffold.

A watchmaker was required,
And unison regained,
Setting the record straight,
They found happiness again.

Tic tac tictacant,
Behold, four are shining,
You tic au tac dang ding
A tac au tic ding ding ding.

The work Gudule et Dudule is made up of two columns of fine nets hanging from the ceiling, filled with transparent blue spheres containing tiny red balls inside.
Like a musical duet, they slowly and subtly unfold and fold from their center, forming an inverted funnel and producing ever-changing, random shapes and two types of noise: that of the large balls readjusting with slight falls and knocks, and the murmur of the tide of small ones rolling inside the large ones.
Forming a rhythmic choreography, it is a work that refers to the reproductive fertility of nature, to cyclical transformation, to the potential enclosed in lightness.
